It is impressive how this student has utilized the concepts of geopolitical and phenomenological communities in describing their own community. The student’s description shows an understanding that people in a community may have different backgrounds, customs, and beliefs, but they can still have a common interest or goal. It is also good to see that the student recognizes the challenges that nurses may face when dealing with a community with various issues such as language barrier, cultural differences, and high crime rates.
